Crystal English

Devoted mother, dynamic business owner, and proud member of our local community. Crystal’s entrepreneurial journey began with Shannon’s Hot Dogs, where her strong leadership and creative flair turned a simple food truck into a beloved local staple. Now, she’s bringing that same passion and drive to her newest venture as the owner of Level Up Fitness.

With Crystal at the helm, Level Up Fitness is more than just a gym—it’s a place to grow stronger together. Get ready for a new era of energy, encouragement, and community spirit!

Meet Hollie –Instructor

 

Hi! 👋🏼 I’m Hollie— instructor at Level Up Fitness, certified in both group and personal training. I also juggle life outside the gym as a wife, a mom to three ridiculously busy kids, and work as an HR Onboarding Partner with G&C Foods. 


My passion is helping people transform through fitness—whether you’re a seasoned athlete or just taking your very first step toward prioritizing your health. I’ve personally struggled with weight and body image my entire life, experiencing it all: heavier seasons, fit phases, and even the “skinny-fat” stage. Those experiences shaped how I coach today.

Through it all, I’ve learned that being healthy and strong matters far more than a number on the scale or how your body looks. That’s what I teach—learning to love your body for what it can do, not just how it appears. When self-love comes first, the results always follow.

Classes I Currently Instruct 

Step + (Every Other Monday, 6 PM)

A modern twist on classic step aerobics—think non-stop movement, light weights, and a heart-pumping workout that meets you at your own fitness level. Burn calories, build endurance, and have fun!


Burnout (Every Other Monday, 6 PM)

Just like it sounds! Burnout targets each muscle group to fatigue with a mix of free weights and bodyweight exercises. Expect lots of cardio, quick movements, and modifications for all levels.


Ratchet (Every Other Wednesday, 6 PM)

A dance fitness class that feels like your best night out! Move to hip-hop and R&B beats, laugh, let loose, and torch calories in a stress-free, party atmosphere.


Weight Room (Every Wednesday, 5 AM)

Full-body circuit training in the weight room where we challenge our muscles to lift heavy and track every milestone. Celebrate your strength and progress with a supportive crew!

Meet Ashley – Instructor

Heyyy; My names Ashley, Instructor at Level Up Fitness, Teaching assistant for Fulton City School district, Mom of 3 & Wifey!


Here’s 3 things to know about me:


“I love Jesus but I cuss a Lot “ one of the best quotes! But for real, I’ve been known to cuss a lot at classes when I instruct, and I’ll apologize ahead of time. 


I am certified in group fitness & personal training!!!


I love helping people become the best version of themselves! Whether I’m instructing group, personal training or life/health coaching my heart is full when I get to help others achieve their goals.

CLASSES I CURRENTLY INSTRUCT:

8 am Sundays with Aimee (we share the hour!) 


Metcon & Core 

Exercises that increases your heart rate while minimizing the amount of stress or impact you put your joints under.


The cross-mix delivers a potent abs workout that demands you raise your knees to waist height during High Knees and keep your body as absolutely straight as you possibly can during plank.


Tabata: Wednesday 6pm 

A form of high-intensity interval training (HIIT) defined by short, intense bursts of exercise followed by brief rest periods, typically 20 seconds of maximum effort followed by 10 seconds of rest, repeated 8 times for a total of 4 minutes.


FUN FRIDAY: Friday 5 am 

Functional fitness, such as using whole-body, multi-joint exercises that simulate movements people do in life. Sometimes games, sometimes stations and all the time funnnnnn!

                                   

Meet Aimee May – Instructor

Hello! I’m Aimee May, proud Fulton resident, mom to three amazing young adults, and a passionate advocate for lasting lifestyle change. My fitness journey began years ago in the United States Army, where I served as a combat veteran. After my military service, I was honored to serve my community for 21 years as a Police Officer with a local agency, and now I work as a Forensic Interviewer for the Child Advocacy Center.


Like so many, my journey has had its ups and downs. After retiring in 2018, the pandemic hit—and with it, I discovered a new love for Hawaiian Sweet Rolls. The pounds crept on, and soon I was struggling with self-esteem, feeling frustrated, self-conscious, tired, and in pain. I genuinely disliked who I had become and avoided looking in the mirror.


Everything changed when I found a Facebook post about Level Up Fitness (formerly Next Level Fitness). In 2021, I attended my first class. I made a promise to myself: this wouldn’t be another short-term “diet”—it would be a true lifestyle change. That mindset helped me navigate the ups, downs, and plateaus that come with any transformation.


Nearly four years later and forty pounds lighter, I am happier, healthier, and stronger than ever. My journey isn’t just about weight loss, but about reclaiming my confidence and vitality—and helping others do the same.

Laura Perwitz – Instructor

   

Hello! I’m Laura Perwitz. I live in Fulton, NY with my cat, Mineo! I’m currently a Regional Manager for Housing Visions, where I travel across New York State to ensure our properties are running smoothly and to help low-income families secure affordable housing—a perfect fit for my lifelong passion to help others.


My Fitness Journey


For many years, my relationship with fitness was on-again, off-again. I struggled with my weight, often felt unhappy, and found it hard to care about my health. I wanted to work out, but faced bullying and lacked support. Everything changed in 2019, when I decided I needed a real, lasting lifestyle change—not another quick-fix diet.


In September 2020, I kept seeing posts about Level Up Fitness (formerly Next Level Fitness) and, despite my hesitations from past experiences, I reached out with a ton of questions. The very next day, I showed up for my first class—and I’ve been hooked ever since. With the support of Level Up Fitness, I’ve lost 128 pounds, developed healthier eating habits, and discovered a true love for fitness.


My journey inspired me to help others who share the same doubts and struggles I once did. I became a Certified Personal Trainer in 2024 and have learned so much more about fitness, health, and motivation. My mindset has shifted from “I can’t do this” to “I can and WILL do this”—and I love helping others make that same shift.


Running & New Adventures


Running is a new passion for me. I started running races solo, but now I have a whole group of friends to run 5Ks with! Since 2021, I’ve run consistently, tackled longer distances including a half marathon and a full marathon. I couldn’t do it without the encouragement of my fitfam at Level Up Fitness.


What I Teach:


Monday 6pm: WOD- A class filled with weight and endurance training.


Saturday 8am: Sanity Session- A low impact class that you can take up or down as you please! Routines you can sing along and have a great time to.

Jonathan Omilanowicz

Welcome to Zumba with Jonathan… I’ve been instructing for 3 years.  Hi I am a certified Zumba® instructor with a passion for helping people move, sweat, and feel confident through dance-based fitness. My classes blend high-energy Latin and international music with easy-to-follow choreography, creating a fun and inclusive workout for all fitness levels.


With a focus on motivation, positivity, and community, I strive to make every class both effective and enjoyable. Whether you’re new to fitness or a seasoned participant, my goal is to help you improve your endurance, coordination, and overall well-being—while having a great time doing it.


Join me on the dance floor and experience a workout that feels more like a celebration than an exercise routine.
